The Goal

To take a dog grooming studio that lived entirely on Facebook and give it a website that answers the two questions every owner has before they will book: what will this cost me, and will my dog be alright. Grooming prices depend on breed, size and coat condition, which is exactly why most groomers refuse to publish them — and exactly why owners keep scrolling. The site had to make the price knowable in advance, prove the quality of the work, and let someone book at eleven at night without a single phone call.

My solution

A price finder that answers the real question
I built a filterable service explorer where an owner picks their category — small breeds, medium, large, poodles by size, or mixed breeds by weight — and immediately sees the price and which breeds belong to it. The same price then appears in the booking calendar, so nothing changes between deciding and booking.
A before-and-after slider that does the selling
Grooming is one of the few trades where the proof is instant and visual. I built an interactive before-and-after toggle on the homepage showing the same dog on the same day — a single control that communicates skill faster than any paragraph could.
Booking that runs without her
I integrated online scheduling showing genuinely free slots up to two months ahead, with instant email confirmation, a reminder 24 hours before, and self-service rescheduling from the same message. Appointments can now land while she is mid-groom with her hands full — or asleep.
Reassurance for the anxious dog
Owners of nervous or first-time dogs need answering before they will book, so I gave that worry its own place on the page and its own FAQ answer — no rushing, the owner can stay beside the dog on a first visit, and the visit gets talked through afterwards. It turns the studio's patience into a reason to choose it.
A brand built around the dog it's named after
The studio is named for Marvela, the family's Bernese mountain dog, whose portrait is the logo. I built the whole identity outward from that — warm cream, terracotta and a friendly rounded type — so the site feels like a home with dogs in it rather than a clinic.
Ten questions answered before they're asked
How long it takes, what a matted coat costs extra, whether to bring a lead, how to cancel — the ten questions she was answering by phone all day now live on the site, written in her voice. Fewer interruptions for her, faster decisions for the owner, and useful ground for search.
Built to be found in Šiauliai
Every page targets how owners actually search — by city, by breed, by price: "Šunų kirpimo kainos Šiauliuose" is a page title, not a hope. Ten FAQ answers, the price page and the booking calendar are linked in the order an owner reads them, so the question that brought someone in ends at a booked slot.
